Republican or Democrat

We spent the day at Canon Beach. I had a great time with the girls playing in the sand and watching the tide come in near the end of the day.

After the beach we headed to the local Mariner's Market to get some more supplies. I took this picture of Holly looking after Addie while we waited for Kim to bring the car around. The bench Holly and Addie are sitting at is between two other benches on either side that look like church pews. One bench is labeled "Republican" and the other "Democrat"; everyone declared our bench "Independents".

Back at the house we grilled and s'mored our way through the evening. Beach life is nothing if not simple. Just perfect.
