Playground

Some people might see here a forest cut down and a somewhat devastated landscape. Some people, such as mountain bikers see a playground. Freshly formed trails sweeping through the landscape. Wide tracks, sweeping turns, jumps. Pure exhilaration!

Yes, that’s the way I see it. Up and on the bike early at 7 and into the playground in the Whakarewarewa Forest. Tickler, Be Rude Not Too and then the new Challenge track. Awesome. Fast sweeping turns, I’m feeling really good about my riding.

Then off to Tauranga for a 4 hour meeting, went well, a drive back to Auckland, and then the plane home.
