Sydney Harbor

We landed in Australia super early and after taking a while to figure out how to get to the hostel from the airport, we decided to take the air train. It was packed with people commuting to work at 7:00 AM. Squeezing on there with all of my luggage was not easy! When we got off the train we realized there were a lot of stairs and a long walk to the hostel so we hailed a cab. We couldn't check in at the hostel yet, so we stored out stuff, bought wifi, and headed out for a nice long walk around Sydney Harbor. Someone was filming a TV show or something. We stopped in a cute little café and then headed over to the Royal Botanical Gardens and Mrs. Maquarie's point and chair. What a view of the Harbor. I was taking a picture on the chair and an Asian family sat down next to me, so I got up to let them take their picture and the mother said, "no, no. You too." So I sat back down. How do you say no to that? It was def because I was wearing a superman shirt.

We came back to the hostel after and it was still only 1:30 pm. We checked in and stayed around for a bit and then walked over to Darling Harbor which I think I like more than Sydney Harbor. Grabbed a quick dinner there and then walked back. It was FREEZING! But we'll definitely go back to go to Paddy's Market.

And we were in bed by 8. Don't even know how long we were really up for, but I'd say a successful first day in Sydney.
