Bees Wax

In the Three Lamps area at the end of Ponsonby Road, I saw the Shoeshine Man seated outside the ANZ Bank. He has a friendly and cheerful patter in his attempt to get custom.

First, I asked his permission to take his picture, and then I asked him where he is from. San Francisco was the answer. Then he told me of the virtues of the Bees Wax polish he is selling. In his left hand is the written blurb, and a container of the product. I have seen him before, and I don't think I have ever seen him with a shoe shine customer. The ubiquitous trainers don't do well with shoe polish.
