Messina

Our original plan for the day was to go to Bondi and Coogee beaches but we decided to save that for next week and headed over to Darling Harbour for a more in depth walk.

Paddy's Market is a giant indoor market where you can find a bunch of souvenir goodies and aboriginal painted artwork and things. I had to stop myself from buying a full-sized giraffe onesie. Headed back more to the center of Darling Harbour where we ate at the Hard Rock Café so I could buy my pin. The waiters kept screaming along to the music and there was only one pin to buy, but at least we got that out of the way (Not my favorite Hard Rock restaurant.). After that we took a detour on our way back to the hotel to explore a bit of the city center.

I almost fell asleep at the Hostel at 4:30pm while Michelle looked up info about a really good gelato place she had heard about and places for dinner. We headed over to Darlinghurst where we ate at a cute little bar/restaurant called Li'l Darling. Then we got Messina gelato which was just as delicious as all of the reports said it was. Definitely worth the trip.
