Untouched Forest of the Botanical Garden
Before I left Entebbe for the capital, Kampala, I wanted to explore the gardens again, as the guide had taken me on a small, but detailed route. I found some fantastic areas, especially down by the lake front, where Sea Eagles could be seen along side Kingfishers, searching for fish.
However my camera (or skills) were not quite up to the job of catching these amazing sights, so I settled on this picture of an area of untouched forest in the gardens. At one point the whole of the gardens were covered in this dense forest like vegetation, before being cut down. This area was saved as a memento, and was actually used when filming the original 1932 'tarzan' film.
The guide even allowed me to swing from the thick rope vines growing from the trees, commonly associated with the new 'Tarzan's' jungle swinging antics.
