A belated Anniversary present from the Boss.......and a bargain......£1......the local co-op takes donations of books and sells them on for a quid....and all the proceeds go to the local Hospice. The Boss knows I have read several
autobiographies/biographies of United players....especially George Best...but she guessed rightly that I haven't read this one.

Up early this morning (6.30) to drive over to Dad's. A pretty productive day.....ignoring him for a while seems to have worked...he was as nice as ninepence all day.

Managed to get him a £145 refund on his electricity bill.....and £26 reduction in his monthly payment.......as well as a £15 reduction in his monthly gas payment.

At the meeting this morning managed to arrange a two hour slot every Wednesday as part of his care package....where someone will come and change the bed, vacuum, dust etc for an hour and then do his shopping (as long as he provides a list).

Took him shopping....and to collect his pension.

Got his lunch.

Washed up.

I even think I managed to talk him out of changing is will!

Now I'm knackered, the drive home was horrendous...slow and very hot......so it's off to bed soon.

I know our school did very well in the GCSE results.....our best results ever...but I don't know the fine details....no one has emailed or texted me...not even hebs.
