Charlottetown

After touring around the area where my family had camped when the children were little, we were once more on the history trail, and visited Province House.

This is where the initial meeting - fairly informal, with much 'networking', and socialising - took place, among delegates of 6 provinces, to discuss the possibility of banding together to form a country. We then went elsewhere, on a tour, which explained the actual timeline of what happened thereafter, before Canada became as it is today - and it is complicated!

Charlottetown is very pretty, particularly at night when it is lit up
