Homeward bound....

At least Ottawa bound - no history, no visiting, no ice cream, but lots and lots of landscapes, stops and Tim Hortons!

It had been the intention to travel back in two days, but we left PEI in the morning and drove all the way to Ottawa - at least my brother and sister-in-law did.

Once we reached Quebec, all the flags were at half mast, a timely reminder, as if we needed it, of the terrible tragedy at Lac Megantic.

I had plenty of blipping time and took a series of photos as the day disappeared, the cloud formations changed as did the light.

An absolutely wonderful trip, which my brother arranged so well....
