The Evening Star over Lake Ellesmere
Another Saturday evening means another trip to the lakeside for tonight's blip. Once more, it was another glorious evening, with just the sound of aquatic birds and the occasional rustling of reeds on the light breeze breaking the silence.
As I took this shot, Venus was starting to get brighter in the western sky, and with a multi-second exposure like this one it's the most dominant object in the sky.
Go large and you'll see some other stars too...
Today's photoshoot at Diamond Harbour RFC went well. Photographing the seniors was easy - after all 20 staunch looking blokes is no problem. But the under 9's ripper rugby team... erm, not so easy..... Oh well, at least the photo will show them enjoying themselves!
