OLD AYLESBURY

This is the view from Rich's flat situated on White Hill in Aylesbury. To the left is Whitehall Street at its j/w Ripon Street & you can see the Masonic Hall with its church-esque windows. Then St Mary's Church towering above the old houses.
The church is probably the oldest building in Aylesbury with the crypt dating from Saxon times. To the right hidden in the trees is Prebendal House, one of the best known houses in Aylesbury, now converted into posh apartments.

Bit of a lazy day today having started the day slowly. After lunch we visited Rich & Nicola then dropped them off at a BBQ. Then on to see Daph for a few minutes then home.

It has been very warm & muggy today with the occasional downpour of rain.

Mum was due home yesterday but no reply on the phone - I expect she'll turn up.

Drinking a beer & eating a bread stick now - must crack on with some jobs tomorrow.
