Since Carol spread the new gravel on the drive some interesting fossils have turned up in it - in fact every other stone looks to be an ancient crustacean.

Re-advertised Daph's furniture on various web sites. Got a call at 2 today saying could they see the sofa at 3. They bought the sofa, the table & chairs, the wardrobe, a bed, and a mirror. We gave them the washing machine a standard lamp and a clock. They were pleased as punch having only arrived in the UK a week ago from Poland.

With the good luck we always seem to have some bad. When I removed the mirror from the lounge there was a damp patch on the wall behind it . I will need to spend tomorrow sticking sealing & repainting ...just my luck !

Never mind, mus'n't complain the buyers paid cash for their purchases & took it all away this afternoon.

Its been muggy today with the odd heavy scud...supposed to be better tomorrow
