Cheque in the post

The cheque is in the Post, and with it the application form.....

Not a bike ride or a marathon, and not something I planned to do.

The Walton Centre in Liverpool provides treatment and research for neurological conditions.

Our family has good reason to be grateful for the care of Doctor P in particular for his wonderful care.

The Walton Centre is raising funds to build a Home from Home: a place where relatives can stay while their loved one receives treatment.

Sadly we will not be using The Walton Centre but we never know who will in the future.

So when Dad said he was looking for someone to to a zip wire ride (jump?) to raise money to help the fund, myself and the landlord of Dad's village pub said "Yes".

The application form says I will Zip For Walton on the 14th September, by traveling on zip wire from the top of the Port of Liverpool Building (all 220 feet of it) down to the Waterfront.
