got up early and cleared up from last night (we had friends round and had more than a dishwasher load of washing up),
made brioche and 6 jars of plum jam
hung out washing
made picnic

headed off to the river for a lovely afternoon

splashed in the river
played ball
had lunch
made sculptures out of the stones
played more ball
splashed around a bit more
rescued buckets and balls
read my book
ate cookies
played more ball

trudged back to car, got take away pizzas
