Porto

A long tiring day. Roads were awful but we arrived ok at Gatwick and caught our flight to Porto.

We're on a river cruise on the Douro and this was the view from the door by Reception, looking across from Vila Nova de Gaia to the UNESCO Heritage site on the Porto side.

We sail gently along the river, starting tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to the culture, beauty, food (and wines) of the Douro region.
