rain rain

go away come again another day.
we have had such a nice week and today we chose to take the girls to London because grandad could go too. visited the Household Cavalry Museum and had a talk about the guys and the horses. They work so hard to keep their uniforms up to scratch as well as the horse. Amazing guys.
we then had lunch whilst it tipped it down then walked to covent garden then back along the south bank.
when the girls were asked what the highlight of their day was, the youngest said the grass people on the south bank and the eldest said the covent garden market! that really surprised us thought it would have been the horses.
the theme of the south bank is neighbourhood and it is about neighbour hood gardens . Along withe the national trust they have developed an Orchard complete with ducks, chickens, sheep and goats and the odd alpaca (which had been shorn) . sorry the alpaca is not in focus
