Big Brothers!

I am exhausted and really want to do this dinner party justice, so will write about it in tomorrow's entry. To sum it up, Gerald and Hamoud (second and third in from the right) hosted and cooked from scratch the most exquisite mezze dishes I have ever tried. Hamoud spent days (literally) preparing the numerous dishes, and we all had the most fantastic evening. Roman (far left) and Stefan (far right) both work with Sabine and Gerald in the Austrian Embassy here in Abuja. They are all such kind and humble people and really made me feel so welcome. Having met Stefan and Roman the last time I was here, I really feel comfortable now knowing that I can call any one of them if I ever feel unsafe or in need of help. Gerald and Hamoud are hilarious and great fun and I look forward to the next time I see them.
