Silver Y moth

I chased this large moth around the garden hoping to catch it as it landed. It finally settled on the old hellebore leaves.

This is one of the few moths I can confidently recognise - a Silver Y (Autographa gamma). I love the intricate pattern and the lovely shimmer on the wings.
