Inner City Dog (With Its Guard Down)
Flat-hunting with my cousin Fiachra, I noticed these boarded-up blocks of flats so we drove by and took a look. Once there, it was clear that many were in fact occupied (and not boarded up). I was a bit nervous about playing the middle class tourist in the inner city, wrong-footing myself with a snouty camera. But then I noticed the dog. Dogs can of course be dangerous, but this one seemed approachable, if a bit shy. Animals are generally less challenging than strangers; we don't need to look for the right words, tone of voice, etc.
Was thinking of blipping this instead. What do you think?
