Incoming

Still a bit unwell. Sam took the kids out for a few hours, then home for tea. Stormy rainy weather, the cold front settling comfortably, with spitting rain: incoming Autumn with a vengeance. I decided to take Lola and drive out to Pigeon House Road for a look at the docks. I watched a longish container ship/ferry as it approached and thrummed past. I was going to post this one, of an expressive traffic cone, but a little later, when I took Lola for a walk on Sandymount, this roiling twilit seascape presented itself and I couldn't resist.
