On a sunny bank holiday Sunday what better than a visit to the park or a walk up Loughrigg. Clearly marked by a signpost which dates back to 1935 or before. This was the year in which Ambleside UDC was incorporated into Lakes UDC which in turn was swallowed up by South Lakeland DC.

There are no such leisure activities for me today but hopefully the sun will shine again tomorrow and I will be out enjoying it.
