Corrie in the Woods

I went up to Bracklin Falls in Callander this morning with Corrie while the girls were watching "Epic" at the flicks. The reality was probably not far off the exaggerated animation - Bracklin Falls is a stunning spot. I can't believe I've lived in the vicinity since 1996 and never been here.

I will be back, but not on such a sunny day - bit contrasty for good photos. This one came out OK, it's a nice composition, but it was the best of a bad bunch. The fungi are already starting to appear, so I think it might merit a return visit in the autumn when the colours are stunning and the falls are raging. Blip-meet anyone?
