One man and his mum

We decided to do some serious bank holiday DIY today and sort out the fence at the bottom of our garden. It has been broken since we moved in and we think as our garden has a small slope at the bottom, the soil has been pushing against the panels, causing them to break. The mr's mum and her partner came over to help. We have fitted new fence panels, dug out the boarder at the bottom and levelled it off, and laid a series of sleepers in front of the fence to stop any soil touching the new panels. We also painted both sides of the fence at the bottom! We are going to lay turf in the old boarder and dig out the gravel at the side and lay turf there too, but that's for another day. Tomorrow we are off to buy more paint to do a second coat and repaint the remainder of the fences and gates around the rest if the garden. A great days work today though!

NB I didn't do any lifting, just a little painting and lots of tea and food prep for the hungry workers, before anybody tells me off about my back
