The goal of today was to get new glasses, but I failed spectacularly at reaching my goal. Silt life lesson #43: glasses are really expensive! On the plus side, I had my eyes examined for the second time this year and was given an excuse to explore Boston more. Highlights of the day included a pleasant Haymarket experience, stumbling upon the latest public art display (partially pictured above) in Boston Common and Copley Square that is meant to promote being nice to the Earth, and a scrumptious dinner at Wich It, my new favorite eatery!
