Scan today

I'm an old hand, I've been having scans for nearly four years now. Sometimes, I turn up, drink the contrast, have my scan and it's fine. Once or twice, I've gone in quite calmly but suddenly have been overcome by panic. Today - who knows.

I got talking to a woman at my last scan who'd been given till Christmas - we were in February - and she'd been gaining some weight and was hoping ... I wonder about her from time to time.

You wait about ten days for the result. Not an easy time.
