Badger skull
They're starting the badger cull in parts of Britain today. I feel sympathy for the farmers, but killing badgers doesn't seem like a solution. Killing isn't a solution to anything. It's a very countryside solution : if you don't like it, shoot it. But you can't shoot TB.
This badger died in the hard winter of three or four years ago. I found its decomposed body under a tree beside the track after the snow melted. I was sad for it, but delighted to get the skull.
