Last night's haar descended dramatically along the Forth and its lacy legacy is everywhere this morning. These webs, always highlit when the mist clings to them, are on the water treatment plant railings beside the Joppa Rocks Bandstand Plaza. The columns on the seaward side of the building can be clearly seen through the web.

Thanks for all the comments on my support of the significant cycling birthday yesterday. His Lordship's 80 miles were accomplished in fine fettle and he and his cycling spouse, Lady Findhorn, are an amazing inspiration and cycling proof that, as another commentator reminded us, Age is only a Number!
