Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 363
Sun before seven - rain by eleven?
A glorious sunny start with unbroken skies to the east save for the trans Atlantic vapour trails from mainland European bound intercontinental jetliners. To the west an Atlantic weather front steadily smokes its way eastwards and my blip is testament to all that meteorology.
This blip also has a fin d'ete feel to it as the summer begins to fade into autumn and the world seems an even more fragile place this morning as the west talks of military intervention in the already unspeakably tragic events unfolding in Syria. There are no easy answers to this and the priceless price of innocent human life seems to be being devalued by the hour.
