West Sands, St Andrews
and a
dog in fog!
Had a lovely walk on West Sands beach today..it felt like no one was on this huge expanse of beach but actually there were quite a few people.. it was just that the fog was obscuring them!!!
I always love how different beaches have different shells on them.. this one is extremely good for finding razor shells and clams and cockles.. being a shallow sandy expanse there are very few mussels and winkles which are rock dwellers. It was on this beach that last year I found a Sea Potato shell.. none today but next time I find one I will try to blip it!
