Orange Crocosmia

A family lunch out at The Wortley Arms today. It's not often I get to sit with both of my brothers at the same time! Too dark to get a decent photo in the pub (it's an old building with small windows) and then we didn't stop to take photos, even though we drove onto the moor to see if the heather was out. It was in places, but the colour felt darker than it does on the North York Moors. So a little disappointing.

So I came back without a photo and decided to get a little more mileage from this Crocosmia which has been languishing in the turquoise tea-bowl. I've been admiring the colours ever since I put in there.
