Woody's role at Rounders

Woody is a player on our team, he is the one propping up the tree. He has a few specialist roles within the squad. He hits well, often scoring rounders whilst struggling to get round due to him being at least 5 times as old as any other member of the team. He is first to cycle off at the end of the game, heading straight to the pub to get us a table that will fit us all. He also turns up and tells those who are using the park in areas we need for the pitch that they may like to move unless they want a ball on the head.

We played Independents tonight, a team that beat us earlier in the season. Tonight we caught them on an off day and ran out convincing 27-9 winners. Rumours that it was because our captain was on holiday that we produced this performance can not be confirmed...
