Happy GG

It's not GG's birthday today, it's on Wednesday, when she will be 84. But Monday is when all the gang come for tea, and my daughter made the tastiest Victoria Sponge as you can see here. Her decoration was a bit slapdash with blue swirling icing with silver balls pressed into it that we were told not to eat as they were out of date... She is so particular with sell by, I'm sure they were only 3 months out of date and wouldn't have done any harm but.......

We found a sparkler candle with the No. 7 on it, a left over from Cameron's 7th last March so that was put in the middle with 10 round the sides.

She got a real surprise when we trooped out of the kitchen singing Happy Birthday... Nice:-)

Horrible experience earlier - Cameron appeared at the patio doors with a large snail attached to his arm out of its house asking us to come and see. He was ordered back into the garden to sit and enjoy the experience out there away from us ladies;-)
