"COOL - CLEAR-WATER"
For those of you who have been with me from the start, 31st May 2013, you will see on that day I blipped a similar shot of my garden. Those of you with keen eyes will notice two things, one of which is that the Hosta lower left in the picture, has now been ravaged. So much so that I had to crop the photo to eliminate most of the mess. Despite vigilantly going out every night with a torch to flick off the dreaded slugs/snails, the little blighters have won and there is not much left.
The second difference is that you can see the water tumbling down the rock.
The weather has been glorious, a slow start but once the sun came out, it stayed out to play.
We had invited a friend from across the street to participate in our special lunch bbq. Claude had met Matthew before having shared a boxing day tea with us last Christmas, so I knew he would cope.
We all enjoyed the meal which had to be eaten inside due to the pesky wasps and after Claude said his farewells to go and dig some potatoes, Mr A and I attacked a section of the garden which had started to look a bit ragged.
Matthew of course continued to listen to soft music and read his books.
Matthew is never keen to go anywhere but enjoy the garden, so it had to be a garden blip, again.
All too soon, it was 18.00 - Matty's tea time. So after the regulation chicken/mayonaise sandwiches, followed by the remaining lime cheesecake, I had to repack his overnight bag and we had to return him back to his other home.
Up early for work tomorrow, so it's time to say goodbye until we 'meet' again. Thank you for dropping by, coping with my dribble, and being faithful fellow blippers. I feel very humbled. Stay healthy and happy, even when all around you may try to get 'under your skin'!!
