JK Rowling Ltd had the very savvy idea of setting up shop and building an actual platform 9 3/4 with a trolley built half into the wall as per the book. You can get your photo taken in a house scarf and buy a print of the photo from the shop. It is all rather well done albeit a tad expensive.
