Honorine

This lovely Japanese anemone goes by the romantic name of "Honorine Jobert", and flowers in late summer and early autumn. It is quite tall, about 5 ft.
I used to admire these in a neighbouring garden and eventually bought one - it is always a good idea to see what grows well in nearby gardens !
Another sunny day, but not too hot.
Our Bookclub meets next week, and as I am rather behind with my reading, I decided to sit in a comfy chair under the pergola and read for a whole hour!
Think I might do it again tomorrow!!
