House Martin flying lesson.

AS we have so many house martins and swallows, i thought i would recruit some as models. I took tons of interesting shots of them on this stunning afternoon, they were every where! It was so hard to choose which one to post that i wanted to make them into a collage (like some of you clever blippers do) Somehow i cannot get the mac to play, I could do it on my mobile but life is too short so here we are with the favourite for today straight from the camera. Amazing agility (the house martin not yours truly and the computer!)
The junior House Martin may or may not be paying attention about how exactly to launch yourself from the wire. Interesting how it uses the breast feathers to make it easier to stay on the wire (maybe)! And what extraordinary toes they have. Maybe try large to see that.
