This grainy high ISO shot was taken as the light of the evening was swiftly fading. I rather like the muted colour and the gravelly feel as well as the flatness of the image (taken through a telephoto). It makes a contrast to the images I usually choose.

Living in the soft underbelly of England I still miss the long long gloaming of a Scottish summer evening. Here at this time of year it's nearly dark by 8:30pm. I imagine this Hieland Coo was born down here and has nothing but a vestigial folk memory of Scottish summer evenings (;-)).
