ridiculous socks

Why even bother? I've spent my day pulling up the heels to stop my shoes rubbing. Back to proper socks tomorrow. None of this fashionable (?) semi-sock. They have made me smile in wondering why I always seem to buy things that are useless but well marketed. Must learn not to listen.

Away from the reason to smile for a moment. I heard today a friend died yesterday. I don't know how to react so I'm telling blip. Hadn't seen her for a while but spoke on Facebook as you do these days-often letting it take the place of real conversation and keeping in touch. So a sad ending to todays blip paragraph.
