Playpark
Bean and Bear enjoyed the playpark so much yesterday that we promised they could go again today. So, after the morning meeting had finished and communion had been had and friends were prayed for on their own imminent adventures to Lesotho and Mumbai and lots of thankfulness had happened, and after the boys and I spent another stressful lunchtime in the leisure centre cafe after Steve went off to help pack the tent down, we headed to the playpark to let off some steam. Bean spent the entire time on some huge crazy climbing frame spider web thingy, Bear spent most of his time on this roundabout thing where some of the seats have pedals attached to make you go round! He LOVED going faster and faster and faster and wobbled quite wonderfully every time he got off to climb onto the next seat.
The journey home was odd. My internal compass felt like it was broken. I don't really know where "home" is at the moment, Worthing is feeling less and less like "home" and to be honest sitting in the passenger seat driving along the motorway we could have been going anywhere and my compass felt like we were heading north already. That said, I really feel like the Regions Beyond family is my family. I feel we have been part of something truly special this morning, God breaking down barriers and factions between churches, bringing revelation to individual hearts that we're not just a group of individual churches, we're ONE family who just happen to live in different parts of the world. Wherever we end up, they'll still be my family.
