Sweetcorn hunters

My little batmen, hunting the tricksey sweetcorn monsters. Bear really did find a monster of a cob too.

Only a quick visit this morning. Home for Bear to fall asleep, Bean to play with lego with daddy, me to try not to fall asleep. Made lunch, ate lunch, shared lunch with Bear who'd woken up and appeared downstairs, made paleo shortbread only I didn't have any honey so it didn't work especially well! Need the honey to stick the butter and the almond flour together I think. They're pretty sweet even though I put an appropriate amount of stevia in. Bean likes them though. Must get some honey and try again.

Chicken for dinner with sweet potato mash, fresh sweetcorn, and carrots and DELICIOUS gravy. Bean ate chicken and said it was delicious, Bear gnawed his way around half a corn cob, Steve and I are full! And the boys were shattered but still not in bed before 9pm because they decided that a bowl of chicken or a corn cob was not enough to stop them being hungry so they have shared a banana and had some milk and are now fast asleep. And now I'm all caught up, I'm going to see if there's room on the kitchen table to get the sewing machine out and make a start on all the bits I need to fix and mend...
