Bishop Wilton Show 2014
It is a slightly worrying time for the future of the show, we have had it easy for just over 30 years, we have had the use of 30 acres of prime grazing land practically given to us by a local family and indeed by the families before them . But this year we must say goodbye to that luxury and start the search for pastures new.
We have had our post show meeting tonight, it is usually held the week after the show, we had hoped for some positive news, there is something other than the sunset on the horizon...apparently.
As my old dear and departed headmaster used to say " them who lives longest will see the most"
We live in hope, continue to be positive and make plans for the 19th of July 2014
Whilst enjoying a post meeting pint I made enquiries with the blokes that may know these things about turning my crap field into a thing of beauty for the bees etc.
Any suggestions will be very gratefully recieved and acted upon.
