Back in the city

Spent the day catching up on lots of mail awaiting us here, a walk and a few errands. Nicely quiet. :-)
Ventured out after our dinner (salads I bought at the grocery store) to listen to a lovely string quartet concert playing on my One Street around the corner. Loved the Philip Glass piece they played. (That's Mike in the rain hat!) The rain threatened, but held off. Tuesday night is also the weekly Duck Dodge sailboat race on Lake Union so I enjoyed watching a bit from our dock across the street (a bit different from the view at the island yesterday!.).....the sun is down so early now - this is about 8:15 - and the city lights were coming on but still some sailboats "racing" (at least there was some wind..) . It was a beautiful sight with these heavy clouds - hope there's more rain in them tonight! Just had to blip the city!
