Quod oculus meus videt

Left to Sprout

Well, this is what happens when you leave other blip subjects in the study for a few days. I'm always being told I don't tidy up after myself and, while I agree, sometimes you get pleasant surprises.

This is a close up of the clematis seed head from Sunday, now that it has sprouted what seems like millions of tiny hairs to aid it's propogation. Rather than a stack I've used a ring flash with small aperture to capture detail.

Many thanks for all of yesterday's wishes for Mum. She told me that she had a great time. Unfortunately this was in a conversation first thing this morning after her neighbour had called me to let me know the paramedics were parked outside her home! She had fallen out of bed and was shaken, though hopefully only her pride was hurt.

pNo more champagne for her!
