Sunrise, Cannock Chase

I thought it was worth a revisit with the promise of a good sunrise. I also needed to get out of the house as it appears that I had kept my wife awake half the night with my snoring!

Am I the only man who can't understand when his wife (partner, etc) complains of snoring when you are quite convinced that you were awake and hadn't been snoring at all?

Anyway, no point arguing so I headed back to the Chase in search of more heather. I like shootng contre jour though I had to stack a 0.9 ND and 0.6 ND graduated filter to control the sunrise. It inevitably put the silver birch into silhouette. I originally shot this for HDR but in the end I used a single image and was able to pull back most of the detail by underexposing by 1 stop.
