Cycling Cafe

Cycled about 20 miles today starting and ending at Greystoke which is a village west of Penrith. Lovely day, a challenging ride with lots of hills but more or less traffic free. At the end, in Greystoke, is the Cycling Cafe.

It is not just a cafe but also organises a host of courses from dry stonewalling to jewellery making and baking. It is rather querky and well worth a visit for that alone. All are welcome, the food is home made and good. Cycling is not compulsory!

It was great sitting in the sun with a massive mug of tea contemplating how good life is. I've always found tea a great drink after long periods of exercise. Why is that?
