against a summer sky

Cleome, they're looking really well at the moment, as are most things in this ongoing summer weather.

I spent the morning picking blackberries for the freezer, its a bumper year and there is so much fruit. Ditto the apples, both trees are heavy with fruit, I don't know what we're going to do with it all but I made a start on getting some into the freezer for winter pies.

This afternoon was hot again, so we went for another dip at Toe Head.
