Ntytyix - Salmon Spirit Chief

"According to Okanagan knowledge, 'Ntytyix' is the Spirit Chief over all the living things in the water. When Coyote brought the salmon upriver, from the Columbia, the last village to be the caretaker of the Okanagan salmon was the Osoyoos (Nk'mip) Band."
