Old Woods

After work today, I was off to the Bowling club to mark a tie for my mate Gordon. He won by 21 shots to 5 so I was only on the green for an hour. After the tie I sat and watched my other mate Colin playing in the semi-final of the Vice Presidents trophy but he was beaten 21-10.

I am now home and we had another clear out today with loads more stuff out in the skip. I put a golf bag with old clubs in it and our old fish tank but can you believe it, someone has come along and taken the clubs with the bag and the lid of the fish tank. At least they are going to a good home.

My blip today is of these old woods that I found at the bottom of my cupboard. Was going to throw them out but after what happened with the golf clubs, maybe not.

I will take them up to the club on Saturday and we could maybe put them in the museum. If all else fails, I could take them to an auctioneer and try to get a good price for them.
