When Insect Bites Go Bad

The midges have been feasting on me and one of the little blighters got me on the ear. The bite then got infected and I ended up with a massive blister thing on my lug. It was a bit alarming because I get bitten all the time but that had never happened to me before so I went to see the doctor just in case. Here's the stash of antibiotics I ended up with.

The healing process was a fascinating though. The blister changed to a much darker colour and started shrinking then eventually dried out to form a scab. Healthy pink new skin was revealed underneath. I really had to restrain myself from poking at it all the time.
