Meet the FEMALE future

This morning I met with several female colleagues in computing to stage a photograph in response to this one, in which not a single female face features.

There was a really good buzz at the photo shoot. I took this snap just after we finished posing for the camera. I hope our picture gets plenty of media coverage, and that this will help promote the message there are great careers for women in computing.

My exercise today was a bit of a disaster. I set off for my run at 06:15 but had to give up a third of the way around the course due to a stabbing pain in my knee. So I can't really report that I ran today. I did, however, walk most of the way to work.
